Redmond fell in love with Bluegrass music in 1975. He started playing the Dobro in 1979. He was a member of the Jenkins Ferry Band and Bluegrass Express. In 1983, the brothers were the nucleus of Custer’s Last Band, a group born of Redmond’s dream to play music with his brothers professionally. Custer’s Last Band was prominent at Bluegrass festivals all over Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, and Texas throughout the Eighties.

Redmond plays the Resophonic Guitar and sings lead and baritone for the group. He lives in Sheridan, Ar.
Redmond is partner in The Leno Capo & Guitar Co. They manufacture capos for the Resophonic Guitar, Banjo, and Acoustic Guitar. They also build the Leno Resophonic Guitar. The Leno products can be seen in the K.B. Store.

 

 

 

 

 

Redmond owns a successful video production company that produces commercials, corporate videos, and Bluegrass videos for several regional bands.
He also works for several remote broadcasting companies doing basketball, football, baseball and other sporting events.


 

Randy plays bass and sings lead and baritone. He lives in Sheridan, Arkansas where he is working with Keisler Lawn and Landscape. He owns Keisler & Co. Sound and works several festivals and music events in Arkansas. Randy is known for great sound and his mixing abilities as a soundman. Randy is a certified EMT and has over 7 years experience in law enforcement. Randy is on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas Bluegrass Association and helps promote the Band and the BITS Program.


 

Rodney plays banjo and sings all parts. He is well known as a member of the Grand Prairie Boys. He joined Custer’s Last Band in 1989 and found a home for his talents. He sells hospital supplies for a large company and lives in Sherwood Ar. Rodney is one of the best banjo pickers in Arkansas. He has given banjo and guitar lessons for several years.


 

Roy plays guitar and sings tenor. Roy has played in several bluegrass bands and is an accomplished songwriter. He is the owner of R & L Equipment, and co-owner in 21 Ponds Hunting Adventures. Roy lives in East End, AR with wife Lori, and their two sons, Preston (14) and Logan (10). Roy serves on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas State Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, and is active in his local church. Roy was raised in Glen Rose about three miles from where Redmond and Randy grew up. His family have been long time friends of the Keisler family.


 

Shaun Sheridan is the newest member of the Keisler Brothers Band. He began taking fiddle lessons in November of 1989 from the "Gene Sullivan School of Old Time Fiddling," where he graduated just two years later. He spent the next few years playing at festivals and contests, winning the Arkansas Stated Fiddle Championships Junior Division in 1991, 1992, and 1993.

After winning the Open Division in 1994 and 1995. He moved on to win the West Tennessee Stated Fiddle Championships, Open Division, and finished up the trip by becoming the Official Grand Champion of the West Tennessee Stated Fiddle Contest.

In the summer of 1994 he had the honor of being one of very few people to get invited to spend 2 weeks with the only 5 time National Fiddle Champion, Mr. Herman Johnson.

Following a second place finish back here in Arkansas in 1996, he was able to gain control of 1st place and became the 1996 Arkansas State Grand Fiddle Champion.

In the Year 2000 he had the honor of traveling and playing on tour as a member of the Urban Cowboy Band with country great,"Johnny Lee" and participated in his "Urban Cowboy" 20th year anniversary tour.

Later that fall they recorded the, "Live at Billy Bob's, Ft Worth, Texas," album.

He has performed with several bands and been a part of different shows entertaining travelers to the Branson, Mo. area. Shaun moved back to his hometown of Benton, AR. Following a creative absence his focus is once again on playing quality Bluegrass Music.
