Redmond fell in love with Bluegrass music in 1975. He started playing the Dobro in 1979. He was a member of the Jenkins Ferry Band and Bluegrass Express. In 1984, the Keisler Brothers were the nucleus of Custerís Last Band, a group born of Redmondís dream to play music with his brothers professionally. Custerís Last Band was prominent at Bluegrass festivals all over Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Alabama and Texas throughout the Eighties. They also played for Churches, large Corporate Events, Private Parties and several City Festivals Redmond plays the Resophonic Guitar, sings lead and baritone for the group. He lives in Sheridan, AR. with his wife Cindy and two sons Daniel and David. Redmond was a partner in the Leno Capo & Guitar Co. They manufactured capos for the Resophonic Guitar, Banjo and Acoustic Guitar. They also built The Leno Resophonic Guitars. The Company is no longer in operation.








Redmond owns a successful video production company that produces commercials, corporate videos and Bluegrass music videos for several regional bands. He also works for several remote broadcasting companies doing basketball, football, baseball and other sporting events. Roy plays the guitar and sings the tenor part. Roy has played in several bluegrass bands and is an accomplished songwriter. He is the owner of R & L Equipment & co-owner of 21 Ponds Hunting Adventures for guided hunting trips anywhere in the USA . Roy lives in East End, AR with wife Lori and their two sons, Preston and Logan. He serves on the Board of the Arkansas State Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and is active in his local Church. Roy gives Guitar & Mandolin lessons, he is a great teacher. Roy was raised in Glen Rose about 1.5 miles from where Redmond and Randy grew up. His family has been long time friends of the Keisler family.


Rodney plays banjo and sings all parts. He was a well known as a member of the Grand Prairie Boys. He joined Custerís Last Band in 1989 and found a home for his talents. He sells hospital supplies for a large company and lives in Sherwood, AR with his wife Debbie and two daughters Stephanie and Alaina. Rodney is one of the best banjo pickers in Arkansas. He has given banjo and guitar lessons for several years.


Mike plays bass with the Redmond Keisler Band, but also plays a great banjo and guitar. He lives in Jonesboro, AR. with his wife Shellie and they have 4 children. He started playing bluegrass back in 1986 and is an accomplished musician.

He was a member of the Shady Hill band for years and traveled into several states entertaining the fans. He owns and operates The Auto Doctor, where he and his mechanics can bring your vehicle back to life. Mike has worked for the Jonesboro Police Department since 2001.
